Good Week-ends.

 yeh!, September is here. Winters are going to enter soon, feels like 2012 is just melting like a dark chocolate ice-cream over a sizzling brownie. Since this week yoga is on hold with the hectic conversations and loads of work, sweet treats and seasonal indulgence is on. To admit, am in love with the quality smiles spent with the loved ones am with. looks like September is sexy!. looking forward for the Indian cricket teams performance in my city.

Sometimes  on a sunday, i love a bit of heat in my breakfast. Mom is making akka south indian Andhra Pulihora . So yumm!! I have been working back to back all week, hosting shows, ah!! Though i have to rush back for the show by evening, it's time to unwind. Yes, I made that. actually cooked to impress mom the last week-end. Target achieved. This is the first time ever in my life mom-the-sexy said start cooking. Oh! The Excitement, almost forgot to name the recipe.  The Vegetable is called Potals in Telugu.  Pointed gourd  in English. The fry i cooked is called Potals Fry. Easy, crisp and simple.  Ingredients  for Potals Fry :  500gms Potals chopped. One tea spoon Zeera One tea spoon mustard one tea spoon salt 1/2 tea spoon turmeric or just a pinch for color pinch of red chilli powder. 2 green chillies 2 dry Red chillies a few curry leaves One large Onion.  4 large garlic cloves smashed 1 table spoon grated ginger 1/2 cup of freshly grated coconut. dry roasted peanuts. oil to fry. Process to fry it off : Take a fry pan on medium heat with 4-5table spoons of oil (used sunflower oil), you can use olive or veg oil. First mustard seed in, followed by zeera, red  c...
